Start with the manufacturer instructions for your exact surface and finish. Cleaning advice can differ between brands and finishes. Keep the guide supplied at handover and ask your fabricator for it if you have not received one.
Build a simple daily routine
For Caesarstone Quartz, everyday spills can be cleaned with mild cleaning fluid and water. Check your own brand instructions before choosing a cleaner. Wipe up spills promptly, remove cleaning residue as directed and dry the surface with a clean cloth.
Protect Quartz from hot cookware
Use a suitable trivet for hot pans and heated cookware. Caesarstone advises protection from sudden temperature changes. Ask about protection beneath appliances that release heat, and follow the surface and appliance instructions together.
Treat a stubborn mark carefully
Identify the spill or residue first and follow the product-specific removal method. Do not jump straight to harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Caesarstone warns that aggressive chemicals and solvents can cause permanent damage. Ask your supplier before attempting a treatment you cannot verify.
Keep the factory finish
Do not polish the surface yourself to remove a patch or mark. Caesarstone explains that its polished finish is applied before delivery; its other finishes are intentionally different. Photograph a persistent issue and contact the fabricator before sanding, polishing or applying a coating.
Care also belongs in the buying decision
Ask to see the finish in everyday lighting and read its care instructions before ordering. If you prefer another material, compare its own maintenance requirements rather than assuming all stone surfaces behave alike. Keep warranty and aftercare documents with your installation records.
