What StoneMatch does

StoneMatch reviews information supplied by customers and may identify materials and independent suppliers that appear suitable for the stated project, location, budget and timescale. We may also assist with comparing options and commercial discussions.

Your supplier contract

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, StoneMatch is not the fabricator, installer or seller of the worktop. Any quotation, survey, template, manufacture, installation, warranty, remedial work and payment arrangement for the worktop is between you and the supplier you select.

Customer information

You are responsible for providing accurate project information and for checking the supplier's final specification, measurements, quotation and terms before placing an order.

Supplier selection

We aim to introduce suitable suppliers using the information available to us, but an introduction is not a guarantee of a supplier's work, availability or performance. Customers should satisfy themselves that their chosen supplier and product meet their requirements before entering into a contract.

Fees and commercial relationships

StoneMatch may receive a referral or success fee from a supplier when a referred project proceeds. This commercial relationship does not change our aim of helping you compare suitable options on their overall specification and value. Unless a separate customer fee has been expressly agreed with you in advance, you do not pay StoneMatch for the matching service.

Problems with the supplied work

Questions concerning templating, manufacture, installation, product warranty, workmanship or remedial work should be raised with the supplier that contracted with you. StoneMatch may assist with communication where appropriate, but does not replace the supplier's contractual responsibilities.
