StoneMatch Price Guide
A useful quartz price is not simply a cost per metre. Your final installed price is created by the slab, the layout, fabrication details, templating and installation.

Quartz ranges vary considerably. Colour, pattern, brand and slab specification all influence the material cost.
Two kitchens with similar metres of worktop can require different slab quantities because of island sizes, veins, joins and usable offcuts.
Thickness changes both appearance and material requirements. Choose it for the design rather than assuming thicker is automatically better.
Sinks, hobs, drainer grooves, recessed drainers and specialist cut-outs add fabrication time.
A standard double bevel is simpler to fabricate than feature profiles such as Ogee, Bullnose or more complex bespoke details.
These add material and fabrication, but intelligent slab nesting can sometimes use otherwise unused areas of the slab.
Always establish whether professional measuring, delivery and fitting are included in the quoted figure.
Travel, parking, stairs, oversized pieces and difficult site access can affect installation planning and cost.
Why £/m² can mislead
Slabs are purchased and cut as physical pieces. A large island, vein direction or awkward nesting can change the number of slabs required even when the finished surface area looks similar.
The number worth comparing is the complete installed job on a genuinely comparable specification.
